- Actor Nagarjuna has adopted 1,080 acre of forest land in Chengicherla, Telangana, on the occasion of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's birthday.
- The family has donated Rs two crore for the cause under the Telangana Chief Minister’s Hairtha Nidhi fund. The key attraction of the urban park would be four large Boab trees that would attract the crowd. Between these four trees would be planted two lakh trees. There will also be picnic spots so that the people of Hyderabad can enjoy the green respite.
- Earlier, Baahubali fame Prabhas had adopts 1,650 acres of Khazipally Reserve Forest and had laid the foundation stone for an Urban Forest Park. Khazipally reserve forest is known for having quite a number of medicinal plants.

- New Delhi: Indian army in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir is using drones to supply the booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine to forward troops in snow-bound areas. Under the mission Sanjeevani, the medical supplies are delivered to the remote areas with the help of drones.
- The video shared by the Indian Army officials gives brief information about the delivery of the medical package which features the clip from the preparation of the dropping zone to delivery of the medical supplies.

- The government has received proposals from five companies for setting up electronic chip and display manufacturing plants with investment of Rs 1.53 lakh crore, an official statement said
- Vedanta Foxconn JV, IGSS Ventures and ISMC propose to set up electronic chip manufacturing plants with USD 13.6 billion investment and have sought support of USD 5.6 billion from the Centre under the Rs 76,000 crore Semicon India Programme, the Ministry of Electronics and IT said.
- Vedanta and Elest have proposed to set up a display manufacturing unit with projected investment of USD 6.7 billion and have sought support of USD 2.7 billion from the Centre under the Scheme for setting up of Display Fabs in India.

- Katra- Banihal part under the mega project is its core and critical section and he biggest uphill task that of line and level has reportedly been achieved by the Northern Railways chiefly by a successful attempt which can be called as a breakthrough in respect of construction of 12.758 km tunnel between picturesque Sumber near Ramban and Arpinchala.
- Known as T- 49 tunnel , it is going to add one more feather in the cap of Indian Railways as this tunnel will be the longest ever constructed by it as it surpasses and outstrips 11.2 km long tunnel built in Pir Panchal Range of middle Himalayas in Qazigund on the Banihal Qazigund section of the railways.
- It is worth noting that the area of Ramban has been posing unique problems and challenges due to the soft rocks highly jointed , squeezing and high ingress of water and with shooting stones with weather vulnerability to disrupt normal traffic on the National Highway for days together and the two ends of the tunnel- T-49 with altitudes of 1200 metres and 1600 metres respectively having been successfully manoeuvred, can be called an engineering feat. Connecting the two ends of the tunnel successfully is a major breakthrough in the entire Railway Project slated to connect Baramulla Sriagar and Udhampur with one another.

- As solar energy is emerging the new source for meeting the energy requirements of the world, India’s increasing efforts to expand the share of renewable energy has led to a substantial increase in the solar power generation in the past few years.
- The country has set an ambitious target of installing 175 GW of renewable energy capacity by the year 2022, which includes 100 GW from solar, 60 GW from wind, 10 GW from bio-power and 5 GW from small hydro-power. The Government of Jammu & Kashmir has taken into note the country’s ambition to reach 175 GW by 2022 and has accelerate the progress of installing renewable power generation plants.
- As per the reports of the Ministry of Renewable energy, a total of 5063.10 MW of renewable energy capacity has been added during the year 2019-20, taking the cumulative installed RE capacity to 83.38 GW as of October 2019. This includes 37.09 GW of Wind, 31.70 GW of solar, 9.94 GW of Bio-power and 4.65 GW of Small Hydro Power. Further, projects of 30.06 GW capacity are at various stages of implementation and 39.67 GW capacity are under various stages of bidding. Clean energy projects now account for more than a fifth of India’s installed power generation capacity.

- रजनी और उनके पति दिल्ली में रोहिणी कोर्ट के पास बिरयानी का स्टॉल लगाते हैं। दरअसल ये पूरी तरह से एक स्टॉल भी नहीं है। इन्होंने अपनी कार को स्टॉल बना दिया है। इसी कार पर रजनी बिरयानी बेचती हैं और अपने घर के खर्चों को पूरा करती हैं।
- रजनी सुबह 5 बजे उठ जाती हैं। बिरयानी तैयार करने में 4 – 4.30 घंटे लग जाते हैं। वह ग्राहकों को बिरयानी के साथ चाप और तड़के वाला रायता भी देती हैं। कोरोना संक्रमण के बाद स्वच्छता को लेकर हर कोई सजग है। बिरयानी बनाने से लेकर ग्राहकों तक उसे पहुँचाने में वह स्वच्छता का पूरा ध्यान रखती हैं। रजनी 10 बजे अपनी गाड़ी लेकर पश्चिम विहार से करीब 9 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित रोहिणी कोर्ट पहुँच जाती हैं।
- सड़क किनारे उनका स्टॉल लग जाता है। 3 बजे तक उनकी पूरी बिरयानी बिक जाती है। यहाँ भी साफ सफाई का पूरा ध्यान रखा जाता है। इस पूरे काम में रोहित पूरा साथ देते हैं। रोहित पहले कॉसमेटिक इंडस्ट्री में काम करते थे। नौकरी जाने के बाद जब रजनी ने उन्हें यह आइडिया दिया तो झट से तैयार हो गए। इसके बाद दोनों ने मिलकर काम शुरू कर दिया।

- जयपुर के अमित कुमार ने जब धंधा शुरू करने का सोचा तब जेब में महज दस हजार रुपए थे, कहते हैं, जिनसे पैसे लिए थे, उनके पैसे वापस कर दिए और अब मेरे पास की खुद की मशीनें हैं
- अमित के माता-पिता और बेटा भी उनके साथ में काम में हाथ जुटाते हैं, पत्नी घर का कामकाज करती हैं, मां ब्लिस्टर में मटेरियल भरतीं हैं, अमित मशीन में उसे पैक करते हैं, बेटा पैकेट एक जगह पर रखता है
- अमित कहते हैं, पिछले डेढ़ साल में औसत कमाई की बात करें तो हर माह 40 से 45 हजार रुपए की कमाई हुई है। अमित ने अब बर्तन साफ करने वाले स्क्रब की मशीन भी खरीद ली है, जो साढ़े तीन लाख रुपए की आई है। इसमें स्क्रब तैयार करेंगे। इसकी पैकिंग मसाले वाली मशीन से ही हो जाती है। कहते हैं, जिनसे पैसे लिए थे उनके पैसे वापस कर दिए।

- अपनी कुछ सेविंग और पिता से कर्ज से लेकर राहुल ने एक रसोई घर बनाया। राहुल अपने बंगले के ग्राउंड फ्लोर में रहते हैं, जबकि उनके छत पर दो कमरे बने हुए हैं। इसके एक कमरे में घर के जरूरी सामान रखे गए हैं और दूसरे का इस्तेमाल भंडारण के लिए किया जाता है। राहुल ने यहीं से अपने कारोबार को शुरूआत की।
- राहुल ने अपने फूड डिलीवरी सर्विस का नाम ‘शेफ सिटी’ रखा और अगस्त के पहले सप्ताह से सेवाएं शुरू कर दी।.
- विमान कंपनियों में काम के दौरान अपने अत्यधिक व्यस्त जीवनचर्या के मुकाबले, इन दिनों राहुल की जिंदगी बिल्कुल अलग है।इस विषय में राहुल बताते हैं, “मैं सुबह 6 बजे उठता हूँ, फिर दौड़ने या साइकिल चलाने जाता हूँ। इसके बाद, किसी दिन सब्जियाँ या अन्य सामग्रियों को खरीदने की जरूरत होती है। फिर 10 बजे तक, मैं खाने को बनाने के लिए सब्जियाँ उबालने, ग्रेवी बनाने आदि का काम पूरा करता हूँ।”राहुल बताते हैं कि उनके पास एक हेल्पर है, जिसे व्यंजनों के बारे में अच्छी जानकारी है और दोनों मिलकर खाना बनाते हैं।
